Year of birth:
I started practicing Aikido in 2009, when I moved to Milan, at A.K.R. - Traditional Aikido Academy under the guidance of Fabio Ramazzin Sensei, IV dan.
From the first year I participated in seminars held by nationally and internationally renowned masters (Sensei M. Aviotti, B. Witt, W. Baumgartner, P. Hendricks, D. Toutain among oters ) both in Italy and abroad.
In 2015 I obtained the black belt 1st dan and continue to train with Ramazzin Sensei in Milan and Gallarate.
I’m a student in Developmental Psychology and in the last two years I have connected my Aikido practice to my academic path, attending the training course by A.S.I. - Italian Sports and Social Associations - “A.K.R. Workshop - insegnare aikido e formazione” (A.K.R. Workshop - Aikido teaching and training) as well as the training course “Aiki-Gioco® Method” and participating in the management of courses for children aged 3 to 14 years. I currently teach a kindergarten class at Spazio Aries asd, in Milan.
What immediately appealed to me in this discipline is that it is an ongoing challenge and growth opportunity on a personal level, temperamental and emotional, as well as on the technical one. I have always experienced the dojo as a place where I can concentrate on developing those skills that I considered most important for my daily life at a given time: autonomy, responsibility, self-confidence, respect, trust. At the same time in these years I have had the opportunity to share challenges and progress with other students close to me who are engaged in the same path, taking part day after day in the life of the group. Teaching is an opportunity to give back part of what Aikido has given me so far, creating for others that safe space in which to know and to forge themselves step by step, according to their needs.
